Overall Effectiveness of Equipment (OEE) is een manier om de effectiviteit van een machine in kaart te brengen.

De OEE wordt middels een formule berekend:

OEE = Availability x Performance Rate x Quality Rate x 100 %

Availability % = actual running time / planned cell production time
Performance % = pieces produced / the theoretical cell production rate
Quality % = good pieces / total pieces made

In het Nederlands:

OEE = Beschikbaarheid x Prestatie x Kwaliteit x 100 %

Beschikbaarheid % = werkelijke looptijd machine / geplande looptijd
Prestatie % = Aantal geproduceerde onderdelen / theoretisch aantal mogelijk
Kwaliteit % = goede onderdelen / totaal aantal gemaakte onderdelen
